Kermit the Frog served as the Grand Marshal of the MSU Homecoming Parade in September 2006. “I’m thrilled that Michigan State University asked me to be Grand Marshal of this year’s Homecoming parade,” says Kermit the Frog. “And I promise to continue to wear the school colors year round in honor of this momentous event!
