I checked their inventory, full of logos and movie-based pins, old book covers, Nintendo cartridge with art, etc. Almost certainly unauthorized, since the only info in their "About Us" is "Do you remember Missy Elliot's episode of Cribs where she revealed she still sleeps in a race car bed? Anyway, we sell pins."
"About Us" is the first place I checked. They're awfully cheeky, like one of those Facebook pages that steals art from starving artists to sell on t-shirts and nobody knows how to take legal action against them.
Heya, over at Thread:246246, we're talking about Animal Show airdates. You wrote a little bit about it in MuppetZine (noting when season 2 started, for example), but you didn't happen to save any more detailed notes from those days did you? A txt file or notebook page buried away somewhere perhaps? We've got dates for season one, we just need the rest.
I was just talking about the second season and beyond. I don't think that MuppetZine mentioned the third season at all. I think issue 20 was probably published before the third season was actually shot in November 1997. Besides, Animal Planet was probably just airing reruns of the first two seasons at the time. As a matter of fact, none of the issues didn't even have the release dates for any of the second season episodes (or the season 3 episodes). Oh, and about me saving any more detailed notes from those days, from what i remember from when I was a little kid, I've seen a clip of Bunnie and Armstrong in water without any snorkels, possibly from Habitat Time, and Stinky and Jake wearing snorkels, showing that they're in the water. It's gotta be from the season 3 episode "Humpback Whale" from when I saw the clip for the first time in 18-20 years in a Hebrew promo on Vimeo. Another time was when I was on vacation back in 2000-2001, when I saw another clip with some animals running around Stinky and Jake. Probably from "Mouse" showing that it was an owl, a snake, and a fox are running around Stanley the Mouse wanting to eat him. But I could be wrong. Anyway, elsewhere back when I was a kid, when I was at the library, I also happen to see Stinky and Jake's faces on a videocassette cover at the video section. So you see, I only could remember a tiny speck of Animal Show in my childhood. I didn't watch the show much back then. I didn't even knew if they were Muppets or not back then, anyway. Please respond.
Sadly, I don't think I have any more info than what I put in MuppetZine -- a review early in season 1, and the note about season 2. That was probably the limit of my interest at the time. :) I wish I'd known that we were going to make a wiki someday, I would have paid more attention to a lot of things.
As I know how much you love crunching numbers, I thought you'd be interested in what's going on between Elmo and Ernie at Special:MostLinkedPages. They've been neck-and-neck for a while, with Elmo currently at 4,717 and Ernie at 4,710. For a brief time a couple months ago, Ernie was the reigning champion, but Elmo's got a slight lead right now. May the best Muppet win!
