TornadoX -- you've undone another user's edits, that could've been fixed, without explaining why in the edit summary box a week after I asked you not to. I appreciate that you have been helping the wiki in whatever way you can, but I’ve had to tell you that, as well as to reply to these messages and to communicate overall, on several occasions. I’m aware that you have been occasionally replying to other users' messages, but not to ones from admins (even ones that ask you to reply). It’s not only strange, but it comes off as disrespectful. Please respond so I know you're aware of this and are willing to work at communications in all forms. I will not be reminding you about this again, and if these habits don’t change, you may very well be blocked indefinitely.
As a tip, that I forgot to mention, the next time you see a questionable edit (unless an edit summary is left), it's much friendlier to ask about it with the user who made the edit instead of reverting. To clarify, I wouldn't be telling you this if you had undid outright vandalism, but most of the edits you had reverted were essential additions (even if they weren't in the best grammar or spelling). Blatantly telling a new user to "use correct spelling" is not in the spirit of Wiki cooperation.
Hi. For the record, TornadoX, fixing someone's edits is better than simply reverting their changes. Doing the latter is not only confusing, but it's an evident sign that you're not assuming good faith, which goes against a fundamental policy in teamwork here. Remember that the Wiki is a group project, and while there will occasionally be people you disagree with, they want to help the Wiki too. "Correct, but don't scold."
This isn't the first time you've been undoing edits without a summary, therefore, I'm kindly requesting for you to not do that any more. Please reply to this message so I know you've read and understand, as it appears you also haven't been responding to admin messages here. Thanks.
Hello. Just wanted to clarify a couple of communication concerns. While I appreciate that your discussing with other users/admins more often, one recurring issue which I had brought up last time is that you aren't saying anything in your edit summaries. Although it's not a requirement, it would be helpful if you can say in your edit summaries why you're changing something, or even reverting someone else's edits, at least every now and then. Also, it's easier in replying to users' messages to click the "Post a reply" option which automatically appears below each message, rather than posting a new one on their wall. If you have a question for me or another admin, you can do either or, but please keep what I said in mind. Other than that, you're doing fine. Have fun =)
Hi again. It seems your most recent contributions to the FR Japanese VO pages are going against what Andrew told you before, which is to discuss before moving. You've also changed info there and on several other pages with what looks like no supporting evidence or sources. This has become especially problematic considering you've made almost no communication to say otherwise; you've almost never said anything in your edit summaries, nor have you responded to any of the messages left here. It would help if you could reply to this message now so we know you are aware of what we're telling you. Otherwise, you could receive at least a temporarily block. Again, please discuss next time before moving a page, or in this case several. Thanks.
Because you're continuing to be uncommunicative and are reverting and changing without showing sources or even saying why, I'm blocking you from editing for three days. Every contributor is expected to follow Wiki policies, as well as to communicate with other users by any means (including reading and replying to messages left on your wall). If you continue editing in this manner after the block has passed, you will be blocked permanently.
Jon, maybe it's not entirely this person's fault. For some odd reason your last two messages show up as new messages to me in my top right notifier and in my inbox of new messages. My account should by no means be linked to this one, yet there seems to be this odd, incorrect technical link. So I'm thinking, maybe whoever this account belongs to, doesn't receive these notifications? Is that even possible? Does anybody else have these massages show up as theirs? Very, very strange! And I wonder what could be done about that.
Hi! Next time you want to move a page, please discuss it on the talk page first. I have no idea where this weird claim came from regarding Paulina Gillis *being* Tabitha St. Germain (they don't sound alike, they worked in different parts of Canada, Paulina GIllis is older and was already playing older character stage roles by 1990 (she goes back at least to 1980, and she wasn't a child or juvenile actress then). St. Germain's official resume doesn't have any "Gillis" credits and she has a huge caveat on her own website:
"Wee other note: Neither Wikipedia nor IMDB got their information from me and it isn't accurate(but it IS funny.- Just ask my father and mother, 'Homer" and "Grey!"?!)
Also--Facebook presents as if I am a member but what's there is just stuff pulled from other sites. I'm not on facebook.
So please don't add such a claim again, or go solely by IMDb changes (anyone can submit a change to IMDb, and for years they claimed Grim Natwick and Burt Gillett, 1930s animators and directors, were the same person). Thanks.
