  • Do you know if Folge 2277 is indeed the last ever Tiffy episode? Given that it aired in the middle of 2005, when the character was scrapped for Moni and Lena, I feel like this might be the case.

    • Not sure, but it could very well be.

    • Then again, there are various gaps between Folgen 2277 and 2303, the first documented Moni and Lena episode.

Something I do find amusing is that I've never seen any 2000s Tiffy footage on YouTube or through NDR.

  • Hey Henrik! What's our source for the squid puppet being built for Animal Show? (your contrib from 2009)

      Loading editor
    • Hey Scott, yeah thats a good question. To be honest I don't really know what the source for that change was. I've been looking through my various files and have not been able to figure out why I made that change.

    • Okay, thanks. I've taken it out for now.

  • How recently did those episodes air on NRK, and why are the images pillarboxed?

      Loading editor
    • NRK recently uploaded 4 episodes to their website, and in the progress removed a few episodes they uploaded earlier this year. You would need a Norwegian IP to watch them. That's the format that they play in, I've just not cut out the black areas before I uploaded the images.

  • Dear readers,

I am trying to find two certain episodes of the Muppet Babies that feature trains in them. I watched "The Great Cookie Robbery" and "The Transcontinental Choo-Choo" but those were not the episodes I was looking for. And I know there's Dental Hyjinks, that episode briefly features a train that's pulling Fozzy's loose tooth, with no success.

One episode I'm looking for is also about trains, and I think in the middle of the episode, Nanny was reading to the Muppet Babies. At the end of the episode, the Muppets get ready to play with a train, but Animal eats one of the train cars. There's also a black and yellow crossing gate.

In another episode, Miss Piggy and I think one other character are in a car stopped on a railroad track and there's a railroad crossing signal, not with flashing lights and there's no gate, but a swinging banner (called "Wigwag signals" for those who don't know) I forget what happens after that but I do believe they get off the tracks before the train comes.

What are the titles of those two episodes?

And while you're at it, are there any other MB episodes with trains in them?

I know this isn't important but help would be appreciated.

Thanks in Advance (If I find them, never mind)

P.S., I am watching the Muppet Babies and other cartoons on this website: http://kisscartoon.me/Cartoon/Muppet-Babies Note, not all cartoons are included and not every episode of the included cartoons are available, bit of an inconvenience.

  • I'm in the process of uploading Sesamstrasse material (namely the control room sketches and the HD intro/outro). When was the intro and outro switched to what is on KiKA's website: 2008 or 2010?

  • Hello, H yrtter. I found an unidentified Norwegian intro. I don't recognize seeing this intro before. I got access to the video, and also got my friend from Norway to view this, but the video was left blank. You're from the Scandinavian region, so can you confirm the video is possibly a newer intro? http://www.nrk.no/video/PS*71476

    • I don't seem to be able to play it, I guess it's no longer on the site as I can get other videos to play even those that are Norway only.

  • Why did you revert my edit on the Sesam page? What I put was true. Elmo did appear in the Swedish dub, "Sesam",  in the 1996 version. Watch this video... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zg64Cxv1Nrw , as it shows Elmo in Swedish. I undid your revision back to mine.

    • The reason is because there was no name change and the voice is unknown. That chart is only for identified actors or name changes for translation, or both (when there's neither, we leave it out). Many characters appeared who aren't in that list because the info isn't known.

The only way it would work is in a brief text list (not part of a voice cast chart) of other characters. If you know enough to make it interesting, feel free. But as is, it doesn't work in the chart. Also, the link you added was non-existent (that is, there's no Sweden section on International Elmo precisely because there was no name change or known voice performer; the list isn't exhaustive, but meant to track instances where we have specific info, beyond the character appearance).

I went ahead and added a brief note to the top of the page that the 1990s series included newer characters such as Elmo, so for now, without a voice actor identification, that's the best way to handle it. I hope that explains the change (sometimes administrators get into the habit of reverting, when we often have to deal with vandals and such, and forget to explain why when the reason isn't obvious to someone not familiar with our structure or formats, sorry!)

    • Hey BackyardigansKaibigan

My reasons are actually more or less as Andrew says. I did know that there must have been a segment or two that had Elmo in it, so that was not the issue.

  • Hi Henrik, did you record the Jim Henson Hour when it aired in Denmark? Was it dubbed, or with subtitles? Cheers Boppity Frackle 15:26, April 29, 2012 (UTC)
