Template:Designer1 Mert is a timid Muppet in a suit who appears with Delbert the La Choy Dragon in the La Choy commercials made between 1965 and 1967. He is similar in style to Fred, the spokesman who appeared in Munchos commercials in 1969.

He also appears in an Ed Sullivan Show sketch as one of Amanda's friends.
