Mel Crawford

Mel Crawford (b. 1925) is a Canadian born illustrator of Sesame Street books. Crawford also illustrated books and comic book covers for Disney and supplied the art for the Dr. Seuss book Gerald McBoing Boing, using water colors. He supplied art for over 93 Western Publishing titles. In later years, Crawford switched to fine art acrylics and currently paints and teaches in New England.
