Mayor Thaddeus Twiddlebug is the mayor of Twiddlebug Town, which is located in Elmo's windowbox outside his bedroom. He is well liked by the other Twiddlebugs, and organizes public works projects, like building a new playground for the Twiddlebug children. He appears in the 1989 book When Oscar Was a Little Grouch.
