Matthew Sklar (b. 1973) is a Tony and Emmy Award-nominated composer whose works include the Broadway musical adaptations of Elf and The Wedding Singer, as well as the original musical The Prom.
Sklar joined the Sesame Street composing team during season 46, where he composed the music for "Going to Outer Space." Later, for season 48, he composed the music for "Hey Friend," as sung by Josh Groban, and the song "Helping with the Chores" for The Not-Too-Late Show with Elmo.
