Mary Tyler Moore (b. 1936) is an actress best known for her Emmy Award-winning performances on The Mary Tyler Moore Show and The Dick Van Dyke Show. She was also nominated for an Academy Award for her performance in the 1980 film Ordinary People.
Moore appeared in segments for Shalom Sesame, talking to kids about such topics as speaking Hebrew. She had previously appeared in two 1982 specials which also featured the Muppets: Night of 100 Stars and I Love Liberty.
