Mariette Hartley (b. 1940) is a film and TV actress best known for her Polaroid commercials with James Garner. She appeared in other Polaroid commercials with the Muppets in the 1980's.

Hartley's other credits include Bruce Bilson's made for television movie The Halloween That Almost Wasn't, and guest spots on the television series The Twilight Zone, Star Trek, M*A*S*H, Columbo, The Incredible Hulk, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, Grey's Anatomy, Murder, She Wrote, The Love Boat, Little House on the Prairie, The Bob Newhart Show, Bonanza and the soap opera One Life to Live.
