"Mad" was performed by Little Jerry and the Monotones on Sesame Street. This song features the debut of that band and all four members of the band that regularly appeared are slightly different. The song, whose chorus and beat is reminiscent of The Silhouettes' Get a Job, featured the band expressing their right to become angry, rather than repressing their emotions and thus requiring counseling in later life.

A dubbed version of the video appears on the Shalom Sesame video "Jerusalem".
