Mack; appearing here as Onky
Mack was a character who appeared in several commercials for C & P Telephone Co. of VA and Southern Bell Telephone in the mid 1960's.
The Mack puppet is also the same puppet used in On Cor, Claussen's Bakery, and McGarry's Sausage commercials from the same time period. However the character is referred to as Onky the Grocer in these ads, presumably named after On Cor in the same way that the character Wilkins was named after Wilkins Coffee.
