Lynn Redgrave (1943-2010) was a British actress and a veteran of stage and screen, as well as the sister of Vanessa Redgrave. She guest starred on The Muppet Show episode 323, where she played Maid Marian in the troupe's Robin Hood adaptation.
Redgrave received multiple Tony nominations for her work on Broadway, and she was nominated for an Academy Award for her roles in Georgy Girl (with James Mason) and Gods and Monsters (with Brendan Fraser). Redgrave's eclectic film credits also included Tony Richardson's Tom Jones, The Happy Hooker (as the title character), Shine, the 2003 adaptation of Peter Pan (as Aunt Millicent), and a 2002 version of Hansel & Gretel (as the witch).
Redgrave lent her distinctive voice to several animated projects, including The Lion of Oz (as the Wicked Witch of the East), the series Me, Eloise (as Nanny), and The Wild Thornberrys Movie. On TV, she made guest appearances on Desperate Housewives, Law & Order: Criminal Intent, Murder, She Wrote, The Nanny, and The Love Boat and was a series regular on House Calls and Rude Awakening.
