Lynda Carter (b. 1951) is an American actress best known for playing Wonder Woman on TV from 1975 to 1979. She won the Miss World USA pageant in 1972, representing her home state of Arizona, and has enjoyed a singing career with several studio albums and concert tours.
Carter guest starred in episode 419 of The Muppet Show, taping her appearance just days after Superman star Christopher Reeve. She later appeared in the television documentary Best Ever Muppet Moments recalling her appearance, "We were just laughing our tails off... I thought this is just so much fun, I'd like to do it again actually."
Carter's film roles have included Super Troopers (with Jim Gaffigan), Sky High (with Patrick Warburton), and the 2005 The Dukes of Hazzard movie, while she has appeared on the television programs Starsky & Hutch, Law & Order, Smallville, Supergirl, and Two and a Half Men.
