Lydia the Tattooed Pig

Lydia is a bespectacled, redheaded pig whose most prominent appearance was on episode 102 of The Muppet Show, where she danced along to Kermit the Frog's rendition of "Lydia, the Tattooed Lady."

Lydia made one more appearance on The Muppet Show, where she was performed by Abby Hadfield in "The Entertainer" as part of her audition on episode 203. In "Lydia, the Tattooed Lady", she use a pair of glasses, but in "The Muppet Show Theme" (Seasons 2 - 5) and in The Entertainer she's not use any glasses.

Unlike the other pigs on The Muppet Show, Lydia had hooves instead of hands. All of Lydia's tattoos, which included "Washington crossing the Delaware" and "the Battle of Waterloo," were drawn by Jim Henson.
