A full-body puppet/costume of Lulu was created for the Sesame Street Live tours.

She appeared in the 2000 remake of the Let's Be Friends show, in which she was an understudy. As Lulu was not a featured character, she did not have any notable lines, but sang as part of the cast ensemble. Her appearances have diminished since the character has most been retired on Sesame Street around 2003.
