"Loud and Soft" is a Sesame Street song about how two people can sing differently (loudly or softly, high or low), and yet still sing together because they both "like to sing good."
Different pairings on the duet have included Bob and Luis in Episodes 0402, 0460, and 0688 (and with English and Spanish lyrics on record), Bert and Farley (on record), Ernie and Bert (First: Episode 3786), and Telly Monster and Baby Bear (First: Episode 3890).
Brothers Aaron Carter and Nick Carter also performed the song on the show in Episode 4056. Elmo and Grover performed the song in the CD-ROM game Music Maker.
