Long Jane Silver is a female counterpart to Long John Silver. She appears in a 1992 episode of Sesame Street where she and Long John Silver arrive in a laundromat and think there is treasure in Maria's laundry basket. Maria looks at their map, which details the basement and labels the her basket with an X, meaning the treasure is there. They dig through the basket and find the treasure -- Long-John's missing sock.
