Loaf of Bread was a guest of honor on one of Sesame Street's "Here is Your Life" segments, hosted by Guy Smiley.

Loaf was reunited with Carol the Baker (who made her), Farmer Frankie (his wheat was one of her ingredients), Cora Cow (her milk was another ingredient), and Betty and Melissa Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwiches and Yvette and Danielle French Toast, who were made from one of Loaf's friends at the bakery.

Years after this segment, a new loaf of bread puppet was built. Two such appearances for this puppet was as Cookie Monster's background singer (one of the Fly Girls) for the song "Healthy Food", and in "Telly's Lunch."
