Lions Gate Entertainment (sometimes shown as LIONSGATE) is a smaller Hollywood studio that distributes theatrical films as well as taking on home video distribution for many independent companies.

In 2009, Lions Gate began distributing the "family showcase" titles previously belonging to HIT Entertainment. Thus far, Lions Gate has re-issued all of the titles previously available from HIT, as well as new titles.
