Lions Gate Entertainment (styled as Lionsgate) is a smaller Hollywood studio that distributes theatrical films as well as taking on home video distribution for many independent companies.

From 2009 to 2010, Lionsgate distributed the "family showcase" titles previously belonging to HIT Entertainment. Lionsgate re-issued all of the titles previously available from HIT under their name, as well as newly released titles.
