Lindy with Gord Robertson

Lindbergh is a shaggy kiwi bird who worked as a maintenance man for MuppeTelevision on The Jim Henson Hour. He would typically tackle his repair jobs with brute force. For example, in episode 105, he took off after a malfunctioning Digit with a sledgehammer.

In 1994, the Lindbergh puppet was modified into Clive the Kiwi for The Animal Show. As Clive, his clothes were removed, his feathers became fluffier, and his beak was given thin whiskers.

Lindbergh makes two appearances in the 2018 short story collection Muppets Meet the Classics: Fairy Tales from the Brothers Grimm. He first appears in "The Eagle, the Mouse, and the Wedge of Cheese" (a take-off on "The Bird, the Mouse, and the Sausage") and returns in "Fozzie and the Super-Sticky Situation" (based on "The Golden Goose").

Lindbergh's name is a reference to famed aviator Charles Lindbergh, serving as an ironic joke since kiwis are flightless birds.
