Leslee Asch was employeed by Henson as part of the NY Muppet Workshop in the late 70's. She built characters for Emmit Otter as moved on to character builds for the Muppet Show, Fraggle Rock, The Dark Crystal, Sesame Street, and other Muppet productions. Because of her very solid knowledge of world puppet history, she was recruited to be part of The Jim Henson Foundation who's function it is "to promote and develop the art of puppetry in the United States". She remains as one of the board members.
