Les Chansons de 1, Rue Sésame (The Songs from Sesame Street) was the first album produced in France. Side One contains original Sesame Street songs translated into French. On Side Two, the songwriters from 1, Rue Sésame make their debut. Roger Elcourt, Denis Demoulin and Claude Sonneville were French folk singers and had not worked with each other before they started with the show. They became known as the "Trio Sésame".

This soundtrack album for 1, Rue Sésame, the French co-production of Sesame Street, was produced by Disques Adès in 1978. It was part of their children's series "Le Petit Menestrel".
