This soundtrack album for 1, Rue Sésame, the French co-production of Sesame Street, was produced by Ades in 1978. It belonged to the series Le Petit Menestrel.
Le Chansons de 1, Rue Sésame (The Songs from Sesame Street) is the first album produced in France. Side A contains original Sesame Street songs translated into French. On side B, the songwriters from 1, Rue Sésame make their debut. Rodger Elcourt, Denis Moulin and Claude Sonneville were French folksingers and had not worked with each other before they started with the show. They became known as the "Trio Sesame".
