Leonard Nimoy on Muppets Tonight

Leonard Nimoy (1931-2015) was an actor, director and photographer, best known as Spock on Star Trek.

Nimoy was interviewed by Dr. Julius Strangepork for the Summer 1984 issue of Muppet Magazine, and he made a cameo appearance in episode 102 of Muppets Tonight.

Aside from portraying Spock in eight movies and three television series, Nimoy appeared on the television series Mission: Impossible as a replacement for Martin Landau, as well as guest spots on Bonanza, Columbo, The Simpsons, Gunsmoke, Rowan & Martin's Laugh-In, The Twilight Zone, and Dragnet.

On stage, Nimoy appeared in Fiddler on the Roof, The King and I, Sherlock Holmes, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, Twelfth Night, My Fair Lady, Oliver! and Equus.

Nimoy wrote several volumes of poetry, recorded five albums, and had his photography shown in multiple galleries.
