Added by ScarecroeLeonard Nimoy (b. 1931) is an actor, director and photographer who is best known as Spock on Star Trek.
Nimoy was interviewed by Dr. Julius Strangepork for the Summer 1984 issue of Muppet Magazine, and he made a cameo appearance in Episode 102 of Muppets Tonight.
Aside from appearing as Spock in seven motion pictures and three television series, Nimoy also appeared in the television series Mission: Impossible as a replacement for Martin Landau, as well as guest spots on Bonanza, Columbo, The Simpsons, Gunsmoke, Rowan & Martin's Laugh-In, The Twilight Zone and Dragnet.
On stage, Nimoy has appeared in Fiddler on the Roof, The King and I, Sherlock Holmes, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, William Shakespeare's Twelfth Night, My Fair Lady, Oliver! and Equus.
Nimoy has written several volumes of poetry, recorded five albums, and has had his photography shown in multiple galleries.
