Lindbergh and Leon.
Leon was a pink lizard with bulgy eyes. His two biggest interests are bikini shows and money. Leon was prone to pull Gonzo into his schemes, and in one episode he referred to Kermit as "cuz", implying that their cold-blooded relation made them cousins.
He was a regular on The Jim Henson Hour and was featured prominently in the "Cliff's Nightmare" episode of The Cosby Show. He conned Cliff out of his money.
Trivia
- Leon has a tail. The only time it's shown, however, was in The Secrets of the Muppets, when the performers appear with their characters. Kevin Clash points out that it's the first time his tail has been shown.
- The same puppet resurfaced as Gingrich the Newt on Larry King Live in 1994.
