Leo Dijkgraaf performed Pino on Sesamstraat, the Dutch co-production of Sesame Street, from 1982 to 1989. He was also heard in the Dutch audio adaptations of several Sesame Street books, replacing Big Bird as Pino (wearing his yellow feathers). The last episode where Leo performed the role of Pino was broadcasted in 1991. This role was taken over by Renée Menschaar.

Dijkgraaf is currently retired from acting and operates his own production and marketing company, Dijkproducties B.V.

In 2008 in the program 'Knowing me Knowing you' Leo made a comeback as Pino and sang the song 'Roken'.
