The Left Door Knocker is encountered by Sarah in Labyrinth. A rather ill-tempered individual, the sentient, gargoyle-faced doorknocker is rendered deaf by the placement of his door ring. Along with his partner, Right Door Knocker, he guards the doors between the hedgemaze and the forest.
