Laurence Fishburne (b. 1961) is an actor best known for his roles in Boyz n the Hood (with Cuba Gooding Jr.) and the Matrix trilogy.

He appeared on Sesame Street with Rosita and Telly Monster to demonstrate how one brushes their teeth. Since Telly and Rosita do not have teeth, they plugged their mouths with ears of corn, and brushed those instead.

Fishburne interacted with Elmo and Rosita in a November 9, 2009 appearance on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.

Currently a regular on CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, other television credits include guest spots on M*A*S*H, Miami Vice, the soap opera One Life to Live, and playing Cowboy Curtis on Pee-Wee's Playhouse.

Film credits include Mission: Impossible III, Othello, the Tina Turner biopic What's Love Got to Do with It, and Steven Spielberg's The Color Purple.
