Laughter /ˈlæftɚ/ (noun):

1. A visual and/or audible reaction to certain stimuli, usually evidenced by someone's facial expression, indicating merriment, satisfaction or derision, generally attended by a sonorous and interrupted expulsion of air from the lungs.
2. According to The Muppets, the third greatest gift that can ever be given, closely following the second greatest gift (ice cream), and the greatest gift ever (children).

Many Muppets frequently laugh; the popular Tickle Me Elmo doll capitalized on Elmo's signature laugh.

While the evil Tex Richman is unable to laugh, many Muppets display very unique forms of laughter (in the case of the Count even accompanied by thunder and lightning). Among them are the following:
