Laraine Newman (b. 1952) is a comic actress best known for her stint as a cast member during the first five seasons of Saturday Night Live. Newman supplied the voice of Mommy Dodo in Follow That Bird and later guest starred on Sesame Street, playing Little Bo Peep's absent-minded cousin Flo Peep. (EKA: Episode 3283)

Newman also made a cameo appearance in the Creature Shop-effects film The Flintstones as newscaster Susan Rock.

Outside of Saturday Night Live, Newman recurred on Bonechillers (as Miss Dewberry), St. Elsewhere (as a mental patient), and 7th Heaven and guest starred on Friends, Alfred Hitchcock Presents, Faerie Tale Theatre, and Brothers & Sisters. Film credits include Wholly Moses!, The Coneheads, American Hot Wax, Problem Child 2, Invaders from Mars, and Jingle All the Way. Her extensive voice credits include Histeria! (as Miss Information and Charity), As Told by Ginger (Lois), Superman, The New Batman Adventures (Baby Doll), Pixar's Cars, Horton Hears a Who, and Disney Channel's Disney Junior series Jungle Junction.
