Lance is Rodeo Rosie's faithful steed, as identified in the Sesame Street Book Club title The Sesame Street Pet Show. In most other texts though, the horse is identified simply as "Rodeo Rosie's horse." Lance was, however, named by Rosie in her first appearacne on the show.

Prince Charming's horse is also named Lance.
