Krazy Kat is a cartoon character created by George Herriman. He first appeared in a newspaper comic strip of the same name in 1913. The strip ran until 1944, and was a major influence on Pogo, Peanuts, & Calvin & Hobbes. He also appeared in various animated forms in theatrical and television cartoons between 1916 and 1964.
In an animated insert created for season 5 of Sesame Street, he proves his love for his friend Ignatz Mouse by making a sculpture of the word "LOVE".
