Krazy Kat is a cartoon character of indeterminate gender created by George Herriman. Krazy first appeared in a newspaper comic strip of the same name in 1913. The strip ran until 1944, and was a major influence on Pogo, Peanuts, & Calvin & Hobbes. Krazy also appeared in various animated forms in theatrical and television cartoons between 1916 and 1964.
In an animated insert created for season 5 of Sesame Street, Krazy proves his love for friend and tormentor Ignatz Mouse by making a sculpture of the word "LOVE".
In the third season Muppet Babies episode "The Daily Muppet," during the song of the same name, Baby Fozzie appears in a Krazy Kat inspired comic. An Ignatz-type mouse throws a tomato at him, in place of the traditional brick.
