Knebworth House, located in Stevenage, Hertfordshire, England, is a family estate belonging to the Lyttons, the descendants of novelist Edward Bulwer-Lytton. Now serving as a tourist attraction and filming location, Knebworth House portrayed The Mallory Gallery in The Great Muppet Caper.

The Knebworth House has been used on location shooting for many other movies, including Batman (1989) and Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (2005).
