The Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards are an annual award show (usually held the first Saturday of April) that airs on the television network Nickelodeon. In the weeks leading up to the show, kids vote via telephone or Nickelodeon's website for various awards related to recent television shows, films, music, books, video games, and sports.
Appearances
- During the 1996 Kids' Choice Awards, co-host Rosie O'Donnell did video appearances from the Kids' Choice Hall of Fame Cruise in New York City. The Cat in the Hat from The Wubbulous World of Dr. Seuss made periodic appearances during the show as the captain on the cruise ship.
