Kid's Choice Awards

The Kid's Choice Awards are an annual award show (usually held the first Saturday of April) that airs on the television network Nickelodeon. In the weeks leading up to the show, kids vote via telephone or Nickelodeon's website for various awards related to recent television shows, films, music and sports.
During the 1996 Kid's Choice Awards, co-host Rosie O'Donnell did video appearances from the Kids Choice Hall of Fame Cruise in New York City. In a fictional context, The Cat in the Hat from The Wubbulous World of Dr. Seuss was the pilot and made periodic appearances during the show.
