During the closing curtain call, Peter confesses to Kermit that he's always wanted to be a frog, and imitates Kermit saying good night to the audience.
Rich Little

In his opening act, Rich impersonates Kermit, Fozzie, Piggy and Statler. Kermit is astonished by Rich's impression: "I was in the dressing room and I heard you on stage, and for a second I thought I had grown a new me."
