Description

Cold and Warm

Grover is outside in the snow, freezing. He knocks on Kermit's door, and asks for help to get warm. Grover tries to guess how he might get warm, but none of his ideas work. Finally, Kermit tells Grover that if he wants to get warm, he should stay inside. Excited, Grover pulls Kermit aside and slams the door, locking Kermit outside. Grover goes to sleep in Kermit's armchair while the frozen frog pounds on the window.

Earmuffs

Grover wants to sell Kermit some earmuffs, but Kermit doesn't have ears, so Grover gives Kermit some big human ears.

Weather Machine

Episode 0848

Salesmonster Grover comes to Kermit's home to sell him a machine that can produce weather inside his home. Grover makes it snow, makes it windy, and then makes it rain inside Kermit's living room.
Note: At the beginning of this sketch, Kermit tells Grover that he didn't know that he was a door-to-door salesman, which implies that this might be the first skit where Grover tried to sell something to Kermit.

Plumber Grover

Episode 1061

Grover comes to Kermit's house to fix his sink. Kermit fills him in on a demonstration of "big, bigger and biggest" when it comes to wrenches. Even so, the sink repair goes awry, and the house floods.

Toothbrush

Episode 1364

Grover wants to sell Kermit a toothbrush, but Kermit doesn't have any teeth.

Head Warmer

Episode 2124

While Kermit is at home typing his autobiography, salesmonster Telly comes to his doorstep and asks if Kermit wants to buy a head warmer. Telly keeps worrying he's not doing a good job, and that Kermit won't want one. But Kermit reassures him that since he does have a head, he will have a use for a head warmer, unlike the things Grover sells (toothbrushes, earmuffs and nose warmers). When Kermit puts the head warmer on, it covers his entire head. Telly remarks, "Kermit! It's, it's you!"

As Kermit relates the story of his metamorphosis from a tadpole to a frog, he migrates from his apartment, to night club, and back to his apartment again.

Hair Piece

Episode 2996

When Grover comes to Kermit's home dressed in salesman attire, Kermit quickly tells Grover that he doesn't want anything, since Grover always tries to sell him things that he has no use for. However, Grover tells Kermit that he has come to give him a hairpiece. After putting it on Kermit's head, Kermit decides that it doesn't look very good. Grover agrees, and offers to sell him a comb, a hair brush, some shampoo, and hair tonic.

Light and Dark

Episode 3784

Kermit tries to explain light and dark. Grover comes to help, but it's so dark that he crashes into everything. Note: This is one of the few Sesame Street skits where Steve Whitmire performed Kermit.

Nose Warmer

Grover wants to sell Kermit a nose warmer, but since Kermit doesn't have a nose, Grover gives him one. Note: At the beginning of this sketch, Kermit is talking to his agent Bernie on the phone.

Sunglasses Salesman

Grover wants to sell Kermit a pair of sunglasses, but Kermit doesn't have a nose or ears to hold the sunglasses up with, so Grover gives Kermit a pair of sunglasses with ears and a nose (as well as a mustache, which Grover says is optional) attached to it.

Monster Repair Team

Episode 2982

Kermit has a leak in his roof, and the Monster Repair Team, consisting of plumber Grover, telephone repairman Herry and a girl electrician monster, comes to the rescue. Grover fixes the leak, but he had to remove a telephone wire. Herry fixes the telephone and removes several electric wires. The electrician monster solves the problem; except she had to take away a pipe.
