Changes: Kermit and Fozzie's Dad

Kermit and Fozzie's Dad is the father of both Kermit the Frog and Fozzie Bear in The Great Muppet Caper. An old friend of Mike Tarkanian, he is only glimpsed in a photograph (with the implication that he is now deceased, although Tarkanian says he'd rather not speak to him about the incident with the jewel robbery in the opening number). Dad resembles Fozzie, but with green fur and Kermit's eyes and collar, and is apparently some unusual amalgam of bear and frog.

In episode 521 of The Muppet Show, a miscommunication leads Big Tiny Tallsaddle to wonder: "Fozzie and Kermit Bear? What is it, a brother act?"
