Kathy Ruttenberg is a sculptor and watercolorist best known for her work in ceramics. In 1979, she created animated segments for Sesame Street.

Ruttenberg trained at the New York School of Visual Arts (receiving a B.F.A. with honors), the New York University Graduate Program in Venice, Italy in 1984; and the School of Visual Arts at Tangier, Morocco, among others.
