Kate Pierson (b. 1948) is a rock singer and songwriter best known for her role as vocalist and keyboardist for the B-52s. Pierson appeared in The Flintstones, along with fellow bandmembers Fred Schneider and Keith Strickland, as their prehistoric counterparts, the BC-52s.

Pierson co-wrote the group's hit "Love Shack," which was performed in The Muppets episode, "Pig Out."

Pierson was caricatured in Muppet form for R.E.M.'s performance of "Furry Happy Monsters" on Sesame Street. The song spoofs the band's song "Shiny Happy People," which Pierson contributed vocals to and appeared in the music video for.
