Added by PinoWriter and poet Karel Eykman (b. 1936) wrote for theatre, television, radio and educational programs. Since 1984, Eykman has written scripts and lyrics for Sesamstraat.
Together with Hans Dorrestijn, Willem Wilmink, Ries Moonen, Fetze Pijlman and Jan Riem in 1970, Eykman started a writers group that produced many songs and lyrics for Sesamstraat and other famous Dutch children's programs.
