Julie Kavner (b. 1950) is a television and film actress who first gained notice as the insecure Brenda Morgenstern on the sitcom Rhoda (1974-1978), but is currently best known as the voice of Marge Simpson on The Simpsons. Kavner supplied Marge's voice in the celebrity version of "Monster in the Mirror" on Sesame Street, and also voiced the female pigeon in the Creature-Shop-effects film Dr. Dolittle.

Kavner has frequently worked with Woody Allen, playing key roles in Hannah and Her Sisters, Radio Days (as Seth Green's mother), New York Stories, and Deconstructing Harry along with smaller parts in Alice and Shadows and Fog. Other film credits include Forget Paris and Click.
