Julian Hosking (1953-1989)[1] was a British ballet dancer with the Royal Ballet (at the Royal Opera House of Covent Garden). With fellow Royal Ballet veterans Graham Fletcher and Michael Coleman, Hosking appeared in The Muppet Show episode 318, dancing in full-bodied Muppet costume with Leslie Uggams in that episode's opening number "Hey There, Good Times."

Hosking performed in a variety of productions for the Royal Opera House from 1971 to 1986 (excepting a hiatus from 1975 to 1977). His many performances over thirteen years with the Royal Ballet company included productions of Swan Lake, The Rite of Spring, The Sleeping Beauty, The Nutcracker and Romeo and Juliet (playing the role of Paris in some later performances, including one filmed in 1984, and Romeo in a 1985 matinee performance), some of these alongside Rudolf Nureyev in addition to colleagues Fletcher and Coleman.
