Jon Richards and Ed Leitner

Jon Richards (d. 1988) and Ed Leitner appeared in the "Great Muppet Look-Alike Contest" in Muppet Magazine issue 1, as dopplegangers for Statler and Waldorf, respectively.
Richards was a character actor who appeared in such films as Shaft, Amazing Grace (written by Matt Robinson), and Annie, and performed on Broadway. Leitner was listed in the magazine as a "talented model."
