Joko Winterscheidt

Joachim "Joko" Cornelius Winterscheidt (b. 1979) is a German television host, who got his start at MTV.

Winterscheidt hosted the press conference for Die Muppets on January 18, 2012 in Berlin, that was attended by James Bobin, Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy.

On January 26, Miss Piggy appeared on an episode of neoParadise on ZDFneo, co-hosted by Winterscheidt and Klaas Heufer-Umlauf. In a trailer for the episode, Winterscheidt admitted to have fallen in love with the pig, who in turn swayed back and forth between being attracted to, and being weirded out by the host. The pig sealed the deal with an onslaught of kisses.

Winterscheidt was also a guest at the 47th Verleihung der Goldenen Kamera, a film and television awards show that Kermit and Miss Piggy appeared on in February 2012.
