John Spencer (1946-2005) was an American actor best remembered for his roles on L.A. Law and The West Wing. Spencer was interviewed by Kermit and Miss Piggy on the red carpet of the 2004 Emmy Awards Ceremony.

Among Spencer's credits are guest spots on The Patty Duke Show, Law & Order, Saturday Night Live, Miami Vice and the Soap operas As the World Turns, Another World, and One Life to Live.
