John Owens

John Owens (b. 1931) is an actor who played the Red Bishop in the 1999 Creature Shop TV movie Alice in Wonderland. A frequent bit player in British television, Owens has guest starred on Doctor Who (as Thorpe in the 1971 story "The Daemons"), The Rivals of Sherlock Holmes, Mapp & Lucia, Lovejoy, Z Cars, and Marple. His film credits include Scrooge, An American Werewolf in London (as a policeman), and From Hell.
